Toxicology / Overdose
Propranolol overdose is unusual because it causes both beta blocker and sodium channel blocker toxicity. This can result in bradycardia, AV block, wide QRS and R wave in aVR. There is a risk of seizures, coma and ventricular arrhythmias.
